NEW DATE for Firefighters Tournament

Due to unforseen circumstances, the Firefighters Tournament was postponed.

The NEW DATE is July 26th

Capt meeting and weigh in at Billys Stonecrab and Steakhouse on Tierra Verde (near Fort Desoto)

Also new- Entry Fee is now only $200 pr 3 man team!!!

Monday- June 30 was the due date for payment of the RedPlug Challenge

Due to the ecomony, we are allowing an extra 5 day grace period for Payments- But all Payments must be made by July 4th

Florida State Firefighters Assoc. Tournament- St. Pete

Classic Tournaments will be holding their first Redfish event ever in the Tampa Bay Area.

We will be managing the State Firefighters Redfish Tournament to be held on June 14th

in the St Pete area.

It will be an open event (your bait of choice), 2 redfish, catch, weigh, and release

3 anglers per team, anyone can fish (you don't have to be a firefighter)

Cell Phone Use

I have question that I was hoping someone can clear up for me. I was watching the show on sun network and notice that cell phones were being used during tourment times. I was under the inpression that no team member is allowed to use cell phone or radios to talk about fishing. I was just wondering because it sure would be nice to use to the talk to my other team members when we are all split up wading different areas. If someone would clear this up I would apprecate it.

The payment for the first Flatsmasters Event- The Grand Slam Plug Tournament is due March 17th

There will be a $100 late fee assessed after that date.

Congrats to team Gator petroleum,team Smugglers and team Karma rods for great finishes in the IFA event on sunday thats good fishing in some tough conditions. Way to go.
